Full Day
Addis Ababa City Exploration
Your guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning to begin your full-day exploration of Addis Ababa. Start with Mount Entoto, where you will enjoy panoramic views of the city and learn about Ethiopia’s imperial history. Continue to the National Museum of Ethiopia, home to fascinating archaeological discoveries, traditional artworks, and the famous Lucy fossil. Then visit Holy Trinity Cathedral, one of Ethiopia’s most important religious landmarks and the final resting place of Emperor Haile Selassie. After enjoying a traditional Ethiopian lunch, visit the Ethnological Museum (optional) or explore Merkato, one of Africa’s largest open-air markets, where you can experience local life and shop for traditional crafts, spices, and textiles. End the day with a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony before returning to your hotel in the late afternoon or early evening.
