You will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel in Addis Ababa and begin the scenic drive west through the green hills, farmland, and rural landscapes of the Oromia region. After approximately 3.5 to 4 hours, you will arrive at Wenchi Crater Lake.

Upon arrival, enjoy breathtaking views from the crater rim before descending to the lake. Explore the peaceful surroundings with a guided boat ride to the island monastery, or choose to hike or ride a horse to nearby traditional villages along the crater’s edge.

After your exploration, enjoy a relaxing lunch at a nearby eco-lodge or local guesthouse with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding forests. Take time to relax, enjoy the scenery, and capture memorable photos before returning to Addis Ababa in the afternoon.

You will arrive in the early evening and be dropped off at your hotel.
