Drive into the scenic Gughe Mountains to visit the Dorze people, renowned for their unique beehive-shaped houses, traditional cotton weaving, and rich cultural traditions. Explore the village, learn about their daily life, and experience their remarkable craftsmanship.

Begin the day with a scenic boat excursion on Lake Chamo, where you will visit the famous “Crocodile Market” and have the opportunity to see large Nile crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of birdlife along the lakeshore.
After the boat trip, continue your journey south toward Jinka, traveling through beautiful landscapes and rural communities. Along the way, pass through the towns of Weyto and Key Afer, both known for their vibrant tribal markets. If your visit coincides with market days, you will experience the lively gatherings where different ethnic groups come together to trade livestock, agricultural products, traditional crafts, and local goods.
Continue to Jinka, the gateway to some of the most fascinating indigenous communities of the Omo Valley.
Drive through Mago National Park to visit the Mursi people, one of the most distinctive indigenous communities of the Omo Valley. The Mursi are renowned for their traditional lip and ear plate adornments, unique body decorations, and rich cultural identity.
Continue your journey to Turmi, the homeland of the Hamer people. Along the way, stop at Dimeka Market, one of the region’s most vibrant tribal markets, where different communities gather to trade livestock, agricultural products, and traditional crafts.
In the evening, experience the traditional Evangadi dance of the Hamer people, a colorful cultural celebration featuring singing, dancing, and community gatherings under the stars.
Take a day trip to the remote Omo River villages of Murulle, Kolcho, and Dus to visit the Karo people, one of the smallest ethnic groups in the Omo Valley.
