After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Lalibela. In the afternoon, participate in the Timket Eve celebration known as Ketera, where priests carry out the sacred Tabots—replicas of the Ark of the Covenant—from the churches. These are paraded through the streets and used to bless the water of the baptismal pool in preparation for the next day’s celebration.
