Extraordinary Ethiopia Tours will meet all clients arriving at the airport regardless of arrival time. For morning flight arrivals you may begin your tour after checking into your hotel. For afternoon or evening arrivals, you may begin your tour the following day.
DAY 01: Addis Ababa
Visit the Ethnographic Museum, a great introduction to Ethiopian culture and history. Tour the Mercato, one of Africa’s largest outdoor markets, and Trinity Cathedral, resting place of Emperor Haile Selassie.
Overnight at Ararat hotel or similar in Addis Ababa

Day 02 Addis Ababa – Lalibela — Aterow
Lunch at Lalibela and drive to 2 hours to Gashena Walk 1 hours to Aterow Dinner at Aterow is located on the edge of the escarpment near a dramatic gorge with a water fall home to large troop of Gelada monkeys (Baboon).
Overnight at the Aterow community guest house.

Day 03 Yedukulay
Breakfast at Aterow community guest house and hike 4 hours to Yedekulay , Picnic lunch
Dinner at Yedukulay, links the east and west Meket treks and is set on a small twin peak below the escarpment, providing excellent views of the steep cliff face.

Day 04 Boya
Breakfast at Yedukulay community guest house and trek 3:30 hours to Dufti Hamusit Lunch at Dufti Hamusit and Trek 3 hours to Boya community guest house Dinner at Boya, which is 3200m high on a bluff of the escarpment facing west with impressive views over the river gorges flowing into Tekeze.

Day 05 Aynamba
Breakfast Boya community guest house and trek 3 hours to Waro Mikael Lunch at Waro Mikael and hike 3 hours to Aina Amba Dinner at Aaina Amba, 3300m with lovely views across theTekeze river to Abune Yosef.

Day 06 Kirtan Washa
Breakfast at Aina Amba and trek 3 hours to Melki Defer Lunch at Melki Defer and trek 3:30 hours to Kirtan Washa Dinner at Kirtan Washa, this site is further west from Aina Amba the increasingly rugged highlands take you out of Meket in to Gidan District into Gidan, which is 3450m.

Day 07 Lalibela
Breakfast Kirtan Washa and walk 1 hours to the Asphalt road and then you will meet your driver and you will drive 3 hours to Lalibela.

Day 08 Addis ababa
Breakfast in the hotel and transfer to the airport to fly back addis, in the afternoon shopping.
In the evening, farewell dinner in a traditional restaurant with local dancers and musicians representing some of the country’s ethnic groups. Transfer to the airport for departure
