Extraordinary Ethiopia Tours will meet all clients arriving at the airport regardless of arrival time. For morning flight arrivals you may begin your tour after checking into your hotel. For afternoon or evening arrivals, you may begin your tour the following day.
DAY 01: ADDIS ABABA – LALIBELA
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Lalibela, famous for its rock-hewn churches dating back 900 years. This is the most important stop on the historical route and from the air the 11 churches, carved into the rugged mountainside, present an awesome spectacle. Afternoon excursion to the most spectacular churches.

DAY 02 : LALIBELA – GONADR
In the morning Transfer to the airport for your flight to Gondar. In the afternoon a city tour of Gondar including a visit to the Royal Compound, where enchanting 17th century castles stand. Also, visit Debre Birhan Selassie Church meaning Trinity at the Mount of Light.

DAY 03: DRIVE TO BAHIR DAR – FLY TO ADDIS ABABA
In the morning drive to Bahir Dar on Lake Tana, the source of the Blue Nile. The afternoon is spent visiting isolated monasteries by boat. There is good birding in the lush forest surrounding much of the lake. Then drive to the thundering Blue Nile Falls. Along the walk to the falls, birding is excellent. Evening fly back to Addis.

Day 04 ADDIS ABABA
City tour of Addis Ababa and shopping. In the evening, there will be traditional dinner and live cultural dance show. At the end of the farewell dinner, transfer to Addis Ababa airport for the flight back.
