Extraordinary Ethiopia Tours will meet all clients arriving at the airport regardless of arrival time. For morning flight arrivals you may begin your tour after checking into your hotel. For afternoon or evening arrivals, you may begin your tour the following day.
Day 1: Addis Ababa
You will be picked up after or before mid-night and dropped off at your hotel located in the heart of Addis Ababa.

Day 2: Addis Ababa-Jinka
Fly from Addis to Jinka by Ethiopian Airlines, after check in to the hotel, visit Jinka’s museum or just relax in the afternoon and ready for the next day.

Day 3: Jinka - Turmi
After breakfast drive to Mago national park to visit the Mursi tribe, who are known for their lower lip and earlobe plates. Afterwards, we will continue driving to Turmi,, home of the Hamer people. On the way, stop in Dimeka for the local market, which is on Tuesdays and Saturday. This is one of the most colorful markets in the South Omo and is visited by neighborhood Hamer, Benna, Karo, Tsemai and Ari tribes. At night, see the traditional night dancing of the Hamer people, known as Evangadi.

Day 4: Turmi
In the morning, take a day trip to Omorate to visit the Dassenech tribe or Karo people. Here you will Cross the Omo River by local boat and enter a Dassenech village or Karo tribe. Today we are a day trip to visit the people of the Karo tribe, depart from Turmi to the villages of Murulle, Kolcho and dus on the shores of the Omo River. The Karo people are the smallest in number of all of the tribes of the Omo Valley, and they are known for their elaborate decorations particulary during local ceremonies.

Day 5: Turmi- Jinka - Addis Ababa
After breakfast drive from Turmi to Jinka Airport and then fly from Jinka to Addis Ababa. Lunch will be at Addis Ababa. In the evening attend a folkloric dinner where you will have a chance to taste several national dishes and watch dances of the various ethnic groups of Ethiopia. The traditional coffee ceremony will also be served.
Later you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
